   Nice experience. We stopped by the truck right on the beach and rented 3 SUP boards right on the spot on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. It was $20 for each board for the hour... Read More and we paddled out to the smooth water in the little river nearby, so we didn't have to battle with the ocean waves. I really enjoyed this but, my husband and his friend weren't big fans of SUP boarding. Maybe kayaks next time!

   Booked a morning surf lesson and was greeted by Steve, a friendly and kind guy. The beach where we surfed was beautiful and the waves were perfect for beginners. I don't remember the names of... Read More my instructors, but they were very easy to talk to, kind, informative and encouraging which made the class feel more comfortable, not that it wasn't comfortable at all! Because of this class, I definitely want to go surfing again!

   We had a fantastic time ocean kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding with Steve! He was so much fun to hang out with and shared a lot of interesting information about the area. We saw so... Read More many sea turtles, usually within 3-5 feet of us! The wind had kicked up, and we had to paddle pretty hard so at one point Steve towed us a little to give us a break, which was really nice. Steve and his team were the nicest guys and made it a memorable experience. Mahalo!

   We were in Haliewa for a quick stop and wanted to try SUP paddle boarding on a whim.  I yelped it and found Sea & Board, called and Steve answered he quickly agreed to take... We had a blast!  Steve was an excellent instructor, very patient and personable to boot!  He never rushed us and even took pictures for us along the trip!  I would highly recommend Steve and his outfit Sea & Board Sports.  Steve mahalo for a memorable experience and we will look forward to our next adventure with you!

   We used this company twice while in Hawaii.  

First, our girls (12 & 17) learned to surf.  I was very impressed with the instructors. We were in a group of three or four other families... Read More and there were two people supervising everyone. Unlike another group I saw with about 15-20 with one person.  

The reservation process was simple.  They sent reminder texts along with gps coordinates to the beach.  

There was an independent contractor taking photos. They were $25-30 depending on how many in your group.  I paid cash and got a discount.  

Second, the family went on a paddle board and kayaking tour.  We got the same stellar service with the lesson and instructions.  

For this trip we used our go card and it was super easy.  Just a phone call, same text reminders, and gps location.  

I would definitely recommend this company!

Hunter was so patient and kind getting this stubborn snowboarder to not fear the liquid water (things live down there, you know...) and we ended up having an absolute blast!

   Excellent experience learning how to paddle board! The guys who greeted us were very friendly and helpful and willing to help in any way. Would highly recommend and will be back when in the area... Read More again.
